Great Night Out & Morning Surprise! =P

Friday, September 25, 2009, is a night to remember; I decided to "gatecrash" via invitation by one of my friend, Lennard who is celebrating his 34th birthday together with some other birthday boys and girl at this place called HOUSE at 8D Dempsey Road.
HOUSE @ Dempsey Road
As for the party photos at House, I gotta wait for the better quality photos to come in first from the man, Lennard, himself before I post it up again. My mobile camera just sucks in poor lighting condition.  After a while, the rest of the group decided to head on down to White Rabbit along the Dempsey Road as well.  Mine mine, the crowd there was much bigger than at HOUSE and the decor was converted from a former Church!
Fancy Partying in a Former Church? Feeling Holy? =P

Pardon the poor quality, mobile camera la.. =P
After a while more of chit-chatting and photo-takings, quite a number of stomachs were rumbling away, so it's time for supper! Moving out.. the supper hungry decided to chow at BOON TONG KEE 文东纪 Chicken Rice Stall.  Ordered for myself a plate of Chicken Rice at SGD $5! and a unique IBC Original Root Beer at SGD $3 before taxes! Gosh!
IBC Original Root Beer since 1919! Very Nice but Expensive! =P
Sauteed Peanuts and Chicken Rice, check out the pyramid rice! =P
After having fed ourselves, it's time for a little 'Daring Adventure'.  The gang of 5 including me decided to go to the Seletar Camp at Jalan Kayu for a little night romp at the privatized airfield, taking a couple of shots for memory sake before heading to the Seletar Camp to watch the sunrise coming over the horizon.  Spooky? Dare to visit?

Private Jet anyone? Too bad, got security watch, if not sure get close for a better shot. =P
Now, after a while more of cam-whoring, met up with two more friends who drove to meet us at the Seletar Camp entrance.  Together we proceed to the Seletar Dam and lo and behold! as we approached the dam, there were two innocent looking puppies standing in the middle of the road.  Avoiding them and shortly, both got picked up by our group, not willing to leave them alone and worried for them, I decided to pick one of the puppies, (can't tell the breed) and bring her home. (Yay! Finally figure the sex!)
Awww.. look at her! =P So sad looking huh!?
Anyway, on reaching home, quickly gave the puppy a quick bath and shower to get rid of the dirt accumulated, made a makeshift place to rest in and fed some warm milk.  Poor puppy, must have not eaten in days, was shivering non stop and very clingy when I brought the puppy home.
Hungry little puppy.. so cute huh.. I'm so in love with her now.
And to top it off for a great eventful night out, this little puppy actually is quite well trained in private matters!  Practically house trained, uses the makeshift bed to pee and poop into.  So well trained, and I'm left wondering what the puppy did wrong that the previous owner gotta be so hardhearted to abandoned them at Seletar Dam where heavy construction works are going on right now.  Maybe it is God's will that we passed by the dam and save the two puppies from a possible tragic end and give them a real warm place to call home! =)
Couldn't help taking this last photo of the puppy sleeping underneath me, next to my legs.
Now, just gotta convince my mom that the puppy really deserves to be part and parcel of our loving family, with cousins to play with the puppy and watch it grow.  Looks like need to determine the sex and confer a proper doggy name soon.  Any suggestions/comments?

I think it looks like a mongrel, like those wild dog. It will definitely grow to be very big. It is important for puppies to receive about 3 or 4 vaccines during young age, cos their stomach will have roundworm or something. Do bring it to the vet when you can. You can also determine the sex as well.
