ADV: Gear Up & Ready for GSS 2006!

Are you ready Singapore?!?!
Guess you know it by now! Haha! The famous yearly event, The Great Singapore Sale is making its comeback soon in 2 weeks time! It will be another round of 8 weeks worth of madcap shopping! Yeah!!! Grabbing all great stuff at dirt cheap prices! It's definitely something you and I as well as all fellow international shopaholics should not miss out! The event will be held from 26th May - 23rd July 2006!

As part of my warm up since this is my very first participation in the Great Singapore Sale, not Government Secret Service, I went with my friend Wubing to Bugis Seiyu Department Store at around mid-noon as I discover that G2000 is actually having a sale sometime last week. At first, my very intention was to land myself with at least 2 sets of blazers going at dirt cheap prices (est. S$48 each!).. But to my ultra disappointment, there were nothing on blazers for sale. The place was very crowded and everybody was busy trying to grab their hands on the clothings available at S$16.00 each! (And I thought today is Vesak's Day, a public holiday not much people...)

Jumping into the crowd less the Mr. Kiasu's GSS Durian Shells Armor Tactic, I hurriedly grab at some suits pants around my sizes as well as some long sleeved cuffed dress shirts. The fabric were smooth to the touch and from the previous price tags, it was around some $75 each & now selling at $16 each! What a steal! By the time, I finished shopping which I've spend a total of $80 nett, it was already 2 pm, goodness, I actually spent 2 hours looking for dirt cheap bargains! haha.

After everything has settled down, we went to MOS Burger for a cup of Ice Milk Tea & Fries. Not only was both of us thirsty, slightly hungry, our feets kinda ache from all the standing, queuing etc. But it was a very happy event short of getting my dream blazers. Dragging our purchases around Seiyu, we came upon a photo studio called Instant Glamor, they had a passport photo promotion - 8 passport photos for $16! (Hey! Today I seemed to be luck with the number 16! Sales items at $16, photo package at $16!) Maybe must buy 4D liao... I took the package and here's a behind the scene photo of me being shot at.

Here is another suggestion for those Mom's lovers and want to pamper her this weekend, hurry and bring her to Instant Glamor for a Mother's Day Promotion Package which comes with complete make-over, 1 outfit, various shots and digital enhancing of the photos. A great way to keep your mom looking young & at her best! It's not too expensive, quite affordable if you ask me.
